Times have changed and so have the methods to do a lot of things. Take for example – taking down lecture notes or making study notes. While there are some of us who still sit in class frantically scribbling down in short hand what the lecturer is rambling about, and there is this other lot in class that coolly sits down and click away on their laptop without once looking at their keyboard. Whichever clan that you may belong to, the verdict is out; studies suggest that taking notes in long hand, actually helps retain the information much longer in the brain than any other method.
