The micro-blogging giant has updated both of its iOS and Android apps with a primarily focus on improved search and a redesigned Discover interface. The Discover tab has been reworked so that users can tap any story once to see tweets about a particular trend or news article, and then participate in the conversation about those trends/articles. The search function has been improved in both applications. It will now autocomplete searches for usernames, first names, and last names, and the iPhone version will show the user’s recent search history. The applications add push notifications for interactions such as when tweets are favorited or retweeted. For download either click here (Google Play) or click here (iTunes App Store).
