According to comments reported by TechCrunch, Tumblr founder David Karp has revelead new numbers of its fastest growing blogging service. The company now reportedly having 20 billion monthly pageviews, means a big jump from the time a year ago. The service is definitely loved by advertisers unless Tumblr make it monetize.
“There are no brand pages or promoted posts. The one difference advertisers have is that they’re able to write a check to elevate their stuff in this ecosystem.” This all meant that Tumblr is making money for only around 18 percent of its site’s traffic i.e. around 120 million pageviews a day result in being monetized.
