Although hitting high with the recent announcement of 84-inch, 4K-resolution TV for Korean markets with promise to make its debut out in first half of the year for both United States and Europe, with pricing will be announced at the next year’s Consumer Electronic Show (CES 2013).
Now, Reuters is reporting that Toshiba said it has to experience a 10-20 percent short of the company’s target of 16 million units in the current financial year amid through tough market conditions. Masahiko Fukakushi, a Toshiba executive vice president said that “Toshiba’s TV business is likely to post a loss in the six months through September but the division aims to return to profit in the second half.”
