Las Vegas

Big, bold and brash, Las Vegas has been welcoming tourists year after year, gaining a reputation for being one of the greatest cities on earth.

Although what happens in Vegas is meant to stay in Vegas, you might not be able to help yourself from spilling the beans to everyone back home when you experience all this city has to offer. From its world-famous casinos to the big shows on display, Las Vegas is filled to the brim with fun things to do.

Hit the Casinos

It’s an obvious one, but Las Vegas isn’t known as a gambling mecca for no good reason. The Strip is home to an abundance of casino resorts, such as the Bellagio and Four Seasons, where guests can try their luck. If you feel like Lady Fortune is on your side, why not play a game of poker or do battle with a slot machine? Of course, if the house wins, you can always retire upstairs to your luxurious accommodation and drown your sorrows with room service.

Cirque du Soleil

The world-renowned Cirque du Soleil finds its home at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino, astounding their audiences with circus acts, the likes of which have never been seen before. Let yourself be dazzled as performers leap from gigantic heights, and find unique and brilliant ways to express themselves through coordinated movement. Currently performing a theatrical evocation of Michael Jackson’s creative genius, the Cirque du Soleil is constantly innovating the way audiences perceive music and theatre.

Bungee Jump off the Stratosphere Tower

If you’re feeling particularly daring, you might consider bungee jumping from the Stratosphere Tower. Located north of the Las Vegas Strip, the Stratosphere Tower reaches a height of 1,149ft, making it the tallest freestanding observation tower in the US. Besides bungee jumping, you can also go on thrill rides at the Tower, or dine in the Top of the World restaurant.

Begin the Day with a Good Breakfast

Las Vegas’s breakfast buffets have become a hit with locals and tourists alike. Many of the Strip’s hotels and resorts offer astonishingly large buffet selections, allowing diners to feast upon traditional English breakfasts or continental cuisine – or even something else entirely! The Wynn hotel in particular offers an exquisite breakfast buffet, providing diners with all manner of culinary goodies, from fruit salads to candied apples!

Go Clubbing

One of things that makes Las Vegas such a hit with locals and tourists is its nightlife. Stocked with a variety of exhilarating clubs and bars, the Strip is the place to be when the sun sets. Whether you’re enjoying a chilled out drink with friends at the Caramel Bar and Lounge in the Bellagio or getting your freak on in the VooDoo Lounge, Las Vegas can and will cater for any fun night out!
