Speaking at the AllThingsD D10 conference today, Apple’s CEO Tim Cook on Apple TV said that it is “an area of intense interest for us,” while for Steve Jobs considered Apple TV as a “hobby”. Cook said that Apple was on track to double sales of the Apple TV this year and had sold some 2.7 million so far, with only 2.8 million sold all year last year.
