Have you ever wondered what Google+ actually is? Well, if you did not, then the fine folks at Umpf have analysed it and found that the total number of social shares from 100 online news stories across four networks: Facebook users in the world approx 901,000,000, and Google + users 170,000,000, and LinkedIn users 161,000,000 and Twitter 140,000,000 users in the world. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+ and averaged them according to each network’s official users. We have also broken these stats down into different news sectors to show how each social media platform is performing. Business stories have the highest percents of Google + share, but even this is well behind the other platform. It is an interesting infographic, designed by Umpf.
