Symantec Acquires LiveOffice, Cloud-Based Email Archiving Company for $115 Million

Symantec, security software giant, has announced the acquisition of a privately-held cloud email archiving company, LiveOffice for $115 million. The acquisition will extend Symantec’s intelligence information governance offering to the cloud, providing customers a choice between on-premise, cloud or hybrid delivery of Symantec solutions.
