Strategy Analytics: Android Accounts For 43% Of Smartphone Profits In Q1 2013, Samsung Make 95% Of That

According to the latest research from Strategy Analytics, Android grabbed 43% of smartphone profits in first quarter 2013 accounted for total of $5 billion while Samsung accounted for 95% of all Android smartphone profits generating $5.1 billion of operating profit worldwide.

The total global Android smartphone operating profits estimated for the first quarter 2013 was of $5.3 billion while the entire smartphone industry’s operating profits reached $12.5 billion worldwide in the first quarter of the year.

Since Samsung’s Android smartphone make it to first place, LG also able to followed the lead with standing on second place and just took 3 percent global profit share. Concluding over the fact, Samsung is at least for now the king of the global Android smartphone industry.
