Sony Music To Open Its Catalog Today For Japanese Apple Users

According to Nikkei Business Daily, Sony Music starting from Monday will make its songs available for download domestically i.e. in Japan on the iOS, but interesting is not through iTunes but via Recochoku, which is a distributor which is run by the top Japanese labels. Apple users already have access to Sony Music content in the U.S. The songs will be included in a new download service. The service will offer the songs for Y52-420 each. In order to listen to the purchased songs, consumers will require a dedicated app. The service is expected to go live later today.
