Sony Announces World’s First XQD Memory Cards

Another memory card format is going to come up in the market, name as “XQD Memory Card”. The card is the first of its type and Sony is the first one to launch the format. With blazing fast data transfer speeds, Sony’s XQD Memory Card achieves stable, continuous shooting to capture each moment in the highest quality.

Also, when using the card with Nikon’s DSLR D4 series, the card can record approximately up to 100 frames in RAW format in continuous shooting mode. Currently, the cards are coming up with two versions, H Series 16 GB and H Series 32 GB.
