Sony today announced three new Haswell-powered ultrabooks in its Vaio range: the Vaio Duo 13 and Vaio Pro 13 and 11. The new Vaio ranges are powered by Intel’s new fourth generation Haswell processor and will run on Windows 8. The tablet-cum-laptop uses “innovative standby technology” and also lasts for up to 18 hours.
The company claims that the new Vaio Pro models are as “the world’s lightest touch-capable Ultrabook,” while the Pro 11 weighs just 0.870 kg and the Pro 13 weighs 1.060 kg. There are no words on pricing yet, but all three will debut from the middle of June, starting with ‘selected countries.’
