Sony today announced the Xperia Z smartphone, coined as the world’s slimmest full HD Android smartphone featuring a 6.4-inch touch screen, 1080p screen, 3,000mAh battery, 6.5mm and weighs 212 grams.
Other noteworthy features include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2.2GHz (RAM is unspecified), 16GB of storage plus a microSD slot, Android 4.2, and an 8-megapixel camera. The device is incorporated with “TRILUMINOS,” a display technology.
The device will reportedly be available globally in the third quarter of this year and will come in black, white or purple. There are no words on exact launch date or pricing yet or the region where it will make its first debut.
