Sony Announces 10.1-inch Xperia Tablet Z, Launching In Japan This Spring

Sony on Monday announced Xperia Tablet Z, its new 10.1-inch flagship tablet which is all setting to make it debuts in Japan this spring. The tablet features a quad-core 1.5GHz processor, Android 4.1, an 8.1-megapixel camera, LTE connectivity. There are no words while when the tablet will make debut beyond Japan.

The tablet further includes APQ8064 processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, a 10.1-inch 1,920 x 1,200 screen (with Mobile Bravia Engine 2), an 8.1-megapixel Exmor R camera, NFC, LTE (MDM9215M radio), microSD expansion and Sony’s “S-Force” virtual surround sound technology. While according to the Japanese publication Blog of Mobile, the tablet packs a 6,000mAh battery, which is tightly packed into a 6.9mm-thick and having a 495g-heavy body.
