Gizmodo is reporting that a number of users been effected with the recent login problem that surrounds AOL. The publication states that many of individuals faced with the error which says, “AOL does not allow your screen name to authenticate here”, resulting unable to access their accounts via third-party clients. AOL later told Gizmodo that they are aware of the issue and is working on to fix it, although which later company confirmed that it has been fixed.
America Online (AOL) has earlier reportedly told The NYT that a total of over 100 people will be eliminated over the coming weeks. AOL is pruning employees for several of its web services, including the AOL Instant Messenger. Later on which AOL seems insisting to ComputerWorld that the company is not getting rid of Instant Messenger service, claiming that it is just laying off some 40 employees which does not mean that company is ending its service.
