You’ve been sitting there now for hours and hours reading the books of James Salter, or viewing the comics of The Oatmeal or the guides to the best valentine deals you can rush yourself into buying to impress your loved one. You’ve been so sedentary all these hours, you’re surprised why you aren’t doing anything about it or why you’re not lured to joining in any kind of sports. This is the right time to get invited to assessing your own sports skills, getting in touch with your body and try to control your body’s attachment to your couch and destroy that connection. Be a moving a person, a country being near to the roots, like what the Haim sisters in their video Falling.

That said, you should be fully excited that the 22nd Winter Olympics in Russia is now open. It’s great that you have another diversion to do to replace for a while that kind of addictive Bisaya Short Films, music videos Glen Hansard and the avant-garde movies in the Philippines you can stream free today on YouTube. Or at least be enthralled with what Vladimir Putin mentioned in his speech, especially when he with authority declared the Olympics open. Such panache. There’s excitement in Sports also that Vladimir Putin cannot seem to understand: the lure of sports to give the youth a make-believe sense of meaning, and a vitality that being young can only harness and the personality stereotype that being a winner can shape. That said, be in the spectacle of Sports by joining the Winter Olympics phenomena. You can’t start joining there without this infographic though.
