Skype has launched a new payment option for the Mexico market, the Skype Cards. Skype Cards will be sold in two denominations: $100 pesos card offers a monthly calling plan for unlimited calls to landlines and mobile phones in the USA, while $150 pesos card provides a Skype Credit balance for calls to telephone numbers in over 170 countries paying per minute and any other Skype paid-for products such as group video calling. The country will be benefited as the large majority of people does not have credit card. Skype Cards will be available at key local retailers including: El Palacio de Hierro, 7 Eleven, RadioShack and Best Buy among others.
