Samsung is the latest entrant to give its Series 9, Series 5, and Series 3 laptops refreshes with Intel’s latest Ivy Bridge processors. The Series 9 laptops feature 13.3-inch and 15-inch, 1600 x 900 displays, powered by 1.7GHz, Core i5-3317U processor and Bluetooth 4.0. The Series 9 13.3-inches come at a price of $1,299.99 while 15-inch come at $1,399.99.
The Series 5 also been upgraded to the Intel’s Ivy Bridge processor and it cost your pocket $799.99 for 13.3-inch and $849.99 for 14-inch, respectively. Although the company do provides you an option over processor selection, if you opt for AMD processors over Intel’s, Samsung has come up with a Series 5 new version which features AMD’s new quad core A6-4455M Trinity APU and costs $699.99 for 13.3-inch and $849.99 for 14-inch, respectively.
Lastly, Samsung has given its low-end Series 3 laptops now all use dual-core processors a significant processing boost. The 14- and 15.6-inch models start at $499.99 and $599.99. All these three Series – 9, 5, 3 are not on shipping mode yet, but they will go on sale tomorrow in Korea.
