Samsung Unveils Galaxy Tab 2: 7-inch Tablet, Android 4.0, 1GHz Dual Core Processor

Samsung has officially announced its latest Android operating system, Android 4.0 running tablet – Galaxy Tab 2 – a 7-inch tablet runs on Ice Cream Sandwich and is somehow similar to the original Galaxy Tab. The tab is powered by a 1GHz dual core processor and 1 GB RAM.

Comes with either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage option, can too even be expanded via microSD. If has a 1024 X 600 WSVGA PLS LCD display, and a 3-megapixel camera on the rear combined with a VGA webcam up front, HSPA+ support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, A-GPS and 4,000mAh battery.

The 10.5mm thin tablet is also loaded with Samsung services which include TouchWiz UI with Live Panel, Samsung Apps support, Hub support, S Suggest which is a real-time app recommendation engine, Kies Air, ChatON, Allshare Play and more.

Samsung has confirmed the tablet will first release in UK in March. Here is the official pricing and availability for the Scandinavian countries. Expected in March, the tablet will sell in both Wi-Fi-only and Wi-Fi + 3G versions.
