According to a report from Reuters citing source with knowledge of the plans, the South-Korean giant Samsung has reportedly chosen Intel to power its next-generation Galaxy Tablet. The move means the company now will use Intel’s Clover Trail+ chip for its Android-powered Galaxy 3 10.1 – also known as the Atom Z2580 in one of its configuration.

There are no words on when the tablet will make its debut in the market. Although Samsung having its media event scheduled for June 20 where it will debut both its Galaxy and ATIV line-up, so maybe the company do having something in store for today’s rumor. It would definitely going to be a big tablet war as we just reported that HTC canceled its plan for 12-inch tab and in the meantime if Samsung really come with Intel-powered tablet, then it would going to be real big.

We had mailed Samsung for the confirmation over the report and as soon as we get any further information, will update you all further.

We will update further on this as soon as more details add over to the story.
