Samsung Loses $10 Billion Market Value On Apple Report

DigiTimes reports that Apple has recently placed huge orders (about 50% of the total chips) for mobile DRAM memory with Elpida Memory’s 12-inch plant in Hiroshima, Japan, lopped $10 billion off Samsung’s market value, according to Reuters. The news results in bringing Samsung’s share down by 6 percent, whipping $10 billion off the market value on Wednesday in a one go.
