Samsung Expects Sale Of Galaxy S III To Pass 10 Million Units During July

With Samsung’s South-Korean variant considered to be the world’s first quad-core LTE smartphone, the global sales of Samsung this new flagship phone will top 10 million units sale in July, just two months after it debut in the global smartphone market.

The company further planning to roll out it on the faster, upgraded 4G LTE networks by next month through the country’s three mobile carriers: SK Telecom, KT and LG Uplus. The company after debuting in London planned to ship the phone to 302 wireless carriers worldwide in 147 countries by the month end (last figures).

Samsung’s president and head of mobile communications business said: “Samsung’s Galaxy S3 was expected to see its global sales top 10 million units in July. It will become the fastest 10-million-seller in Samsung’s history.”
