Samsung Considering ‘Mobile Phone Plant’ In Indonesia

Samsung on what said to be as going on the footsteps of Apple, considering having company’s manufacturing unit in Indonesia. The company is studying options to construct a mobile phone plant in the Southeast Asian country in Indonesia.

Lee Kanh Hyung, the head of the Indonesian subsidiary confirmed Dow Jones that the company already having a plant for electronic products in the country and is now “interested in having a mobile phone plant.”

While on other side, country’s Industry Minister M.S. Hidayat said his ministry is working on prepare and to provide various incentives to the South-Korean giant for setting up the plant, which will help the country in generating more number of jobs. But Hyung and Hidayat not provided any time frame clearing when the plan comes into real light.
