Samsung today announced its third quarter 2012 results. The company has reported the revenues of 52.18 trillion won, a whopping 26 percent increase from the same period last year. The operating income was 8.12 trillion won (about $7.4 billion), a whole sum of 91 percent increase from last year. The company’s mobile communication accounted for 26.25 trillion won in revenue, while its display panel business accounted for an operating profit of 1.09 trillion won on revenue of 8.46 trillion won, a 19 percent increase in sales.
