Samsung Announces 5.8-inch And 6.3-inch Galaxy Mega Android Smartphone

Samsung today released its new Android-based smartphone, the Galaxy Mega – a 6.3-inch Galaxy Mega and a 5.8-inch Galaxy Mega smartphone. Starting with 6.3-inch device, it features HD TFT with a 1.7GHz Dual Core processor on board. It includes Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with two cameras – one 8 megapixel rear-facing camera and other 1.9 megapixel front-facing camera.

While the other device, the 5.8-inch Galaxy Mega features QHD TFT display with 1.4GHz Dual Core AP processor, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean on board. It too come equipped with two cameras – one 8 megapixel rear-facing camera and other 1.9 megapixel front-facing camera. The device will be available as either an 8GB or 16GB variant with a microSD slot available for up to 64GB of additional memory.

There are no words on both pricing yet, but we will update you as soon as more information will come into picture. Both devices will be available from May, launching in Europe and Russia before it rolled out worldwide.
