RIM’s BlackBerry 10 Prototype For Devs Will Out In May At BlackBerry Jam

The much awaited first BlackBerry 10 smartphone are still having time to make its debut in the market, but in an “interesting” note, prototype units containing the operating system will be out by May. RIM’s BlackBerry Jam conference, starting on May 1st, the company will release the first beta of the BlackBerry 10 Developer Tools at BlackBerry 10 Jam, giving an opportunity to have hands-on time with the tools and access to BlackBerry platform experts, who can help guide you, give tips and tricks and other info as you get started building apps for BlackBerry 10. These toolsets will include:

  • BlackBerry 10 Native SDK
  • BlackBerry 10 WebWorks SDK
  • BlackBerry 10 SDK for Adobe Air
  • BlackBerry 10 SDK for Android apps
