Report: Twitter Reportedly Planning To Launch Location-Based Ads By Later In 2013

AdAge citing two people briefed on the product is reporting that Twitter reportedly planning on to launch location-based advertisements later this year. The move means the company allow brands to show their promoted tweets to people location wise. The report suggests that the location-based ad format will make its debut in about the fourth quarter. As per now, the micro-blogging giant only allows ads to be targeted to specific locations while it does not yet working towards as per zip codes as its competitor Facebook doing since 2011. Without a doubt, to stay in the competition and make bigger as compared to its rival – Twitter will go at any extent.
