VR-Zone – via Gadgets Tip – claims to have leaked specification sheet detailing the company’s next generation of Tegra chips, codenamed “Wayne”. There will be at least four different Tegra models coming in 2013 on which the company is working on, alleged that all are having the same architecture as that of Tegra 3. The flagship 1.8GHz T40 is said to arrive in the first quarter of next year, followed by another flagship model, the 2GHz T43, in the third quarter. The AP40, listed as a mainstream model, is also set to appear in Q3, and will feature clock speeds ranging from 1.2GHz to 1.8GHz. All three, targeted for 10-inch tablets, are listed as being based upon ARM’s Cortex-A15 processor. A fourth model, the SP3X, will be aimed at 7-inch devices, with clock speeds ranging from 1.2GHz to 2GHz. We’ll have to wait for official confirmation from Nvidia to know for sure; perhaps we’ll get it in June at this year’s Computex.
