Nokia Announces 808 Pureview Coming To India And Russia This Month

Nokia today announced that it is soon to be rolling out its 41-megapixel 808 Pureview phone in India and Russia this month. The phone features 41-megapixel sensor – composing of 41 million pixels – the 808 Pureview has a larger 4-inch screen with nHD (640 x 360) resolution and features a more ergonomically-minded case, rounding its edges and offering a softer, grippier surface. The key specs on the processing side of things include 512MB of RAM and a 1.3GHz single-core SoC, the phone do includes a 1080-pixel video at a quality unlikely to soon be matched by another phone with the best set of optics that is still be soon.

“PureView has completely raised the bar on imaging performance for the whole smartphone industry – and Nokia is not stopping here,” said Jo Harlow, Head of Smart Devices at Nokia. “We’re going to carry on developing PureView for our future smartphones in ways that will again revolutionize the imaging experience.”
