Announced last week finally, Microsoft’s next instalment of Windows, the Windows 8, and the company reported during its BUILD 2012 conference that it has sold about four million upgrades for Windows 8 in the first three days of its launch. The company’s CEO Steve Ballmer while greeting the crowd at conference says enthusiasm for the new operating system was “very high.” Further a slide used while giving the presentation states that “A spectacular start” with the quote from a Category Director at Dixons Retail, Mark Slater that, “Sales of laptops during launch weekend have been 20% ahead of our forecasts.”
