Microsoft Windows 8

Making the things versatile, Microsoft started sharing its latest Windows 8 Mail, Calendar and People app updates to users starting from today. The updates bring performance enhancements and a whole collectibles of new features on board all together although the updates are available to you via Windows Store.

Counting on additions in these new updates, Mail updates include flagging, junk mail and folders supports along with search and print buttons while Calendar includes weekly view and an inline time view support and the third one, the People app comes with an improved user interface and ability to post on Facebook user walls.

Interestingly, the app updates on bringing the removal of Google’s Exchange ActiveSync support for Mail, Calendar and Contact syncing. In short, the search giant now moved to IMAP support stems with in return ditching Exchange Active Sync support. The updates are available from the Windows Store but in case if you are not able to find them up, then go into the Store settings, App Updates and select check for updates.
