With Windows 8 just round the corner, Microsoft today announced the Skype for Widows 8 version. As expected, the newest version of the service comes with same look and feel. Skype puts the people and messages that are important to you as the part of whole new experience. Skype has also made it easier for you to call landlines or mobile phones directly and all that with the help of modern dial pad.

In lieu of offering better experience, now you need to sign in again to your Skype account, if you are already logged in into your system using your Microsoft ID. Further while on a call, you can conduct video chats using the whole screen, with showing your chat messages as text bubbles on the side of the screen. There’s lot more with the new Skype, all you have to wait for another few days, when the app will be available for free in the Window Store on October 26th.
