LinkedIn today announced that from now onwards it allows regular users to comment, “like” and mention other people at the bottom of Influences people posts. LinkedIn Influencer program includes more than 300 of the top professionals from high-profile entrepreneurs, like Richard Branson to politicians like Barack Obama.

Here is what LinkedIn said about it:

Starting today, you will be able to “like” or respond directly to a specific comment on an Influencer post that resonates with you as well as mention a member in your post, enabling you to have a deeper and ongoing conversation. When another member likes a comment you’ve provided, or mentions you in a comment, you will receive a notification so that you can dial back into the conversation. We are also giving you the power to sort comments, to help you quickly find the content that interests you most.
