According to the Korean publication, Yonhap News Agency, LG strikes back at Samsung over OLED patent lawsuit. The company filed a suit against South Korean giant Samsung over alleged violation of its patent. The company in its press conference claimed that Samsung has infringed seven of its patents on organic light-emitting diode panel technologies.

LG said it will seek damages and permanent injunction against the sale of infringing devices in the country, which even includes Samsung’s Galaxy S III, Galaxy Tab 7.7 and Galaxy Note. “This lawsuit has been filed both to enforce LG Display’s intellectual property rights and promote fair competition,” LG Display said.
