Over the path to reconciliation, LG has dropped its request for a sales ban on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 in Korea, the Yonhap reports. The story goes back in September 2012 when LG’s Display unit filed a patent suit against Samsung seeking injunction on a number of devices. There are no words yet on LG’s original complaint over permanent injunction against Samsung’s Galaxy S III, Galaxy Tab 7.7 and Galaxy Note.

Back in September 2012, LG said:

It will seek damages and permanent injunction against the sale of infringing devices in the country, which even includes Samsung’s Galaxy S III, Galaxy Tab 7.7 and Galaxy Note. “This lawsuit has been filed both to enforce LG Display’s intellectual property rights and promote fair competition,” LG Display said.
