Lenovo Wants To Customize Windows Phone 8 Handsets, But All It Wants Is Nokia-level Permission

Windows Phone 8 handset seen in the building form as it is confirmed by Lenovo. The announcement came back in June and lead to Windows Phone growing its presence in China. WPDang reports that the company does not want to just sell stock Windows Phone, but it wants to customize it:

Lenovo has sent a team of R&D executives to negotiate with Microsoft aiming to gain more freedom on the UI customization of the Windows Phone OS. […] [It] is looking to get a bit more control than your average OEM.

Over and all, Nokia is the only one having the permission to dug deeper and tweaked the things in its own way after all Nokia and Microsoft are in $250 million partnership.
