According to the latest numbers from Google’s Android Developer Dashboard, Android’s Jelly Bean version has accounted for 45.1 percent of market share, an up from previous recorded 40.5 market share last month.

On the other hand, Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich version saw a drop to 21.7 percent from 22.5 percent in market share in August. Honeycomb drop by 0.1 percent while Froyo drops to 2.4 percent from 2.5 percent in August.

Gingerbread stands high at 30.7 percent; although it too saw a drop down from last month market share recorded 33.1 percent. The up and down in market share is also quite an obvious as Google recent unveiled that it is soon to launch Android’s KitKat version.
