Iran Reportedly Developing ‘Intelligent Software’ Censoring Social Networks

Glimpsing on the words from the middle east that Iran is working towards developing an “intelligent software” that will restrict the content on popular social networks across the country, reports 7Sobh Daily and Agence France-Presse, cites police chief Esmaeil Ahmadi Moghadam. The solution in straight giving a clear glimpses on that the company looking for an alternative towards blocking of popular social networks completely from the country.

“Smart control of social networks will not only avoid [social network’s] disadvantages, but will also allow people to benefit from their useful aspects,” said police Chief Esmaeil Ahmadi Moghadam. Although this is not the first time that Iran come into picture as earlier country’s filtering system and Cyber police remained a controversial topic, while Ahmadi Moghadam says “smart control of social networks is better than filtering them completely.” It would be better when the whole thing come into light.
