Seems like it is Windows Phone day, but overall it’s Microsoft self-praised claim day as the software giant said that it’s Windows Phone has outsoles the iPhone. The company says through its blog post (via NYT) that it has reached 10 percent market share in a number of countries and what if we go by the data from IDC’s latest report, the company has shipped more than Blackberry in 26 markets and more than iPhone in 7 markets.

Now, counting on from where the company got this numbers, the number Microsoft received from mainly three of the markets, (Ukraine, South Africa and “rest of; where rest of formed by Argentina, India, Poland, Russia and Croatia”) which totally counted for less than 100,000 units in the fourth quarter of 2012. Concluding over the fact, IDC said that the company’s Windows Phone has made it marks in the countries where Nokia traditionally does well in.
