iContact, Email Marketing Company Acquired By Vocus For $169 Million

The publicly-listed provider of the cloud-based marketing and PR software, Vocus has reportedly acquired an email marketing company name iContact for small and medium sized businesses. The acquisition comes at a price of $169 million, reports TechCrunch. iContact has raised around $53.3 million to date.

The acquired company also allows users to track email campaign, accessing data around opens and much more. iContact’s email marketing software automates the process of creating, sending and tracking email communications for businesses. Also allow social media sites Facebook and Twitter integration. The platform also serves as monitoring application to track opens, clicks, follows and more serving currently 70,000 organizations.
