With HTC announced loud and clear earlier about its full commitment with Windows Phone, but seems like it would not be the case with the revenue. The company reported its February 2013 revenue of mere NT$11.37 billion (about $384 million), the lowest in 3 years with a drop of 44% year-over-year.
This is not make a complete statement as in recent times, HTC announced lowered profit of mere $35.4 million since 2004 while its unaudited consolidated results for fourth quarter 2012 was with the total revenues of NT$60 billion and the unaudited operating income was NT$0.6 billion.
The all now believes on HTC commitment plan towards Microsoft’s Windows Phone with looking forward for a “good collaboration with Microsoft for a future release this year,” which hopefully makes the company to stand out from this huge building up losses.
