HTC today announced its unaudited results for the second quarter 2013. The company reported a mere NT$1.25 billion (about $41 million) after tax from NT$70.7 billion (about $2.35 billion) revenue while in the same quarter a year ago, the company made NT$91.04 billion as revenue (about $3 billion) with NT$7.40 billion (about $246 million) in profits.
Although with HTC One, the company again in lieu of making its place and sold around 5 million units in just 50 days time but thanks to its rival Samsung’s Galaxy S4, things turned out to be tangy and result of which hit the company’s revenue stream a bar, downing its revenue by nearly 24 percent from the previous month.
