HTC Plans For Bigger Windows Phone Models As Against The Lower Screen Resolution

Bloomberg citing a person familiar with the project reporting that HTC scraps planning for larger Windows Phone models as the screen would have had lower resolution when comparing with the competing models. Although the Windows Phone does not support higher resolution as that on Google’s Android platform, the person familiar mentioned.

Windows Phone 8 which was released back in October, supports screen resolution of 720 horizontal lines with Microsoft also limited the processors numbers which can be used with manufacturers’ devices. A Taipei-based spokeswoman for Microsoft, Cheryl Chang has declined to comment at the moment as well as HTC itself declined to comment in an email.
