HP Plans For More ‘Business-Oriented’ Cloud Services

Zorawar Singh, senior vice president and general manager of HP’s cloud services department, told The New York Times that HP is “not just building a cloud for infrastructure.”

Hewlett-Packard or just HP is said to be planning of its own cloud service in the market as eyeing over the fact that Amazon’s cut in the cloud market share will give its own version of the cloud technology a good start. The company wants to include “business-focused” features on a platform and even want to file it with more third-party apps and services.

HP has had significant cloud strategies rounding up from some time now, even it was also seem that company CEO Meg Whitman, is in much eager to restructure the company in every possible manner. In a way to comparison if HP want to make big in cloud business, it do have to note first that Amazon having multiple data centers in US, Europe and Asia.
