HP Brings Up OpenStack Portfolio With New Messaging, Bursting Services, Including New Converged Cloud Products

Announced at the OpenStack Summit in Portland (via ZDNet), Hewlett-Packard brings up OpenStack portfolio with new messaging, bursting services. The company unveiled new Converged cloud products, with integrating more of the open source cloud computing software on board with its own private and public cloud offerings.

Starting with, HP added new private cloud bursting services which will simplify the start-ups of hybrid clouds, dubbed CloudSystem Bursting Activation Services. On second offering, the company bring on a new “as-a-service” model to share, aiming towards developers.

The third in the list of offering, the company also updated the overall CloudSystem private cloud, bringing the version count to 7.2 with further integrating OpenStack enabling both the aforementioned bursting services while keeping the support on for RedHat KVM resource pools.
