The Galaxy Nexus Verizon edition is reportedly getting difficulty applying the standard update from Google, the problem is mainly getting by the GSM version of the device whereas the latest 4.0.2 update to Android Ice Cream Sandwich, reports Android and Me. Some of the GSM networks-based Galaxy Nexus version is having the ability to apply the Android version. Over on this, one of the XDA forum member posts that Samsung pushed out a fix to the ICS bug early in some batches of the device but lately another update from the same forum confirmed that the ICS updates, including 4.0.2 are now shipping to some of these devices.
