According to Myanmar local news agency The Irrrawaddy (via The Next Web), Google’s Eric Schmidt “will soon visit” the country in a trip to meet with senior government officials, opposition leader, Nobel Peace Prize winner Aung San Suu Kyi and country’s leading businessmen.

There are number of reasons which do make the trip a lovable one for Schmidt because of which he might select the country for his coming visit. Burma (officially Myanmar) recently opened up under the quasi-civilian government of President Thein Sein.

Further the country do owe around 1 percent of population accessing internet access with giving an edged-way out for tech companies to enter in the country. On counting with the mobile phone usage, a mere 3 percent of country population have its own phone as of 2011.

Despite this is not the first time when Eric Schmidt plans to visit a country, but since Burma is new in the list, and if news comes true, then it supposed to be much interesting to note that what Burma going to have in the store for them from Google.
