Google Unveils ‘Relevant Ads’ For Google Maps For Android And iOS

Google today unveiled “relevant ads” at the bottom of the screen once you perform search in both of its updated Google Maps for Android and iOS version. The “relevant ads” brings a title, ad text and a link by which you can get directions. The feature will work the way in which advertisers know well that a new click comes into existence called “Get location details” which results in a standard CPC charge while users know that they can tap or swipe upward on to see more information.

Moreover, along with getting location details, you will get information like business’ address, phone number, photos and more. While, it’s on companies who purchase these ad units gets the freedom to offer the initial ‘get location details’ click, get directions, click-to-call, and clicks on the ad headline under paid option and saving business information for later, sharing a business with a friend, or starting navigation under free option.

The search giant claims that this new “relevant ads” are more attractive in nature for both of users while more effective for advertisers while company also added that AdWords will charge for up to two paid clicks per ad impression only.
