Android 4.0 or the” yummy” Ice Cream Sandwich which is still trying to make it roll out among the Android device users, a new report is suggesting that its next counterpart Android 5.0 known by “Jelly Bean” could launch as soon as in June this year. Google is likely to launch the Android version in the second quarter as far as the Digitimes reports suggest.

According to the report cites supply chain sources that state the search giant will seek to release its new Android platform this year in giving an edge to Microsoft’s Windows 8, which too will made its debut this year – around October.

It is also reportedly that Android 5.0 will be further optimized for tablet PCs while on the other end the search giant will also integrate its Chrome system function to offer dual-operating system designs.

Vendors can either chose to adopt only Android 5.0 or add Android version to Windows 8 devices. Seeing and noting the past version Android 4.0 did not perform well as it was expected – but with the upcoming version there are a lot of expectation rounding up but isn’t the version would make good flurries around.
