Google Plans To Invest Another $200 Million In YouTube, Will Double Down On Its ‘Channel’ Experiment

You watch, listen even make your own videos on Google’s YouTube but in order to give another major shift, the search giant planning to invest another $200 million over professional video channels, after investing its initial original funding of $150 million, reports The Wall Street Journal. YouTube has thousands of channels, created by active users who frequently post videos; some are much better than others. The search giant’s video service has secured commitment from advertisers to run over $150 million of ads on the channels this year, the publication says citing person with direct knowledge of the sales. Hope the planned investment will help Google towards its video service growth that it is offering on worldwide scale.
